Abstract;An information and communication network to serve a building has been created using a totally open configuration by integrating network technologies such as BACnet, LONWORKS, EMIT, etc. The developed system, a floor integration type building management system, is capable of controlling and monitoring building facilities such as air-conditioning, lighting, blinds, etc. in an autonomic and distributed fashion. In addition, a coordinated control algorithm for energy saving has been developed and verified for effectiveness. By applying this system to the company's Tokyo headquarters building, the system has been proven to be the latest open BA system to manage and optimize approximately 80,000 control points.
