Abstract; The lighting laboratory, installed in the company's Tokyo headquarters building, is equipped with a flexible elevating grid and a light control function adaptable for the various ceiling height that is not available in conventional laboratories, and is capable of presenting the specific light space image shown in the lighting plan and design to efficiently perform accurate and multi-viewpoint visual environment evaluation test. Lighting plays an important role in architectural design to determine space quality. To confirm this role, evaluation tests are essential along with a variety of simulations. The laboratory is equipped with two museum walls for confirming the lighting effect, four elevating grids, eight hanging bars, light control equipment, luminance distribution and analysis equipment, etc. (author abst.)
