| Abstract;By adopting an optimized structure for the load-bearing members of a sheet metal storage rack while using thin materials and a simplified structure for nonload-bearing members, the weight of the storage rack was reduced by 36% compared to a similar product and is stronger against earthquakes. Further, by making the nut-mount rail on the back cage individually configurable to the stored object, the steel rack product structure was unified for network racks and data center racks. The new design also solved the previous problem of mounting servers from different companies by providing the flexibility to mix products in a rack.
