Abstract;Meiotic process as well as somatic cell division cycle looks common cell division mode to all eucaryotes, but is not well known by what kind of molecular mechanisms works for it. In fission yeasts, an RNA-binding protein of Mei2 functions as a master regulator to control the progress of meiosis. Though many of RNA-binding proteins are known to control cytodifferentiation, their active control mechanisms have not been well proven yet. During analyzing the control mechanisms of Mei2, new active control mechanisms of RNA-binding proteins are found.
