Abstract;Based on huge informations of human gene sequences which are entirely revealing, comprehensive and high-efficient analyses of gene functions in bioorganisms becomes one of the current researches in life science. Ribozyme library for mRNA genes, which are randomized hammerhead-formed ribozymes posessing RNA excision activity, i.e., having various base sequences, is effective for searching and identificatiing functional genes involving with various vital phenomena, and phenotypes. Searching genes for those involved in cell movement and in apoptosis by using this ribozyme library results in identification of many genes as their candidates including those of which functions have not been clarified yet.
