Abstract; It is well known that the psychosocial factors, so called stresses, are closely related to the onset and the progress of bronchial asthma. Therefore, it is important to treat patients with bronchial asthma from the both sides of mind and body approaches. In this paper, we reported our treatment for a patient who was suffered from intractable bronchial asthma and applied of autogenic neutralization method. As a result, patient became aware of mind-body correlation about her illness and that could make a decision her future way of new living. Thus her well-being was taken back. We hope that psychotherapy, including autogenic neutralization, will be beneficial for the patient with psychosomatic diseases. (author abst.)
