Abstract; We investigated the effect of four of HMC-CoA reductase inhibitors on the lipid and lipoprotein cholesterol of the hypercholesterolaemia associated with diabetes. Moreover, we compared the rate of achievement to a management target value in the medical treatment effect by the HMG-CoA reductase. 1. Four HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors declined the TC and the LDL-C value significantly compared with before treatment. 2. Compared with other agents, the high rate of achievement was significantly intentionally obtainedby atorvastatin medication with TC and the LDL-C value. 3. Change of the glucose tolerance and the laboratory data before and behind treatment did not change with four HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors about a liver function obstacle, a kidney functional disorder, and rhabdomyolysis, but it was thought that safety was equivalent.
