Abstract; This paper explains the following items on the titled study: 1) Objectives; effective utilization of recycled sludge as sewage deodorant, 2) test method; sludge property was modified by electrolytic treatment to yield dehydrated sludge (water content of 80 %), 3) results of batch deodorization test; deodorization performance not less than 85-95 % was shown in short period, 4) results of continuous deodorization test; stable performance not less than 99 % was maintained up to 400 hours, 5) retention of water content provided sustainability of deodorization performance and 6) conclusion; electrolytic treated excess sludge can be regenerated as deodorant.
