Abstract;We report two cases of ruptures of the quadriceps tendon. They were 57 and 67-year-old healthy man. When they fell down, in both of 2 cases, the strong foece was given to the tendon and it was ruptured. Primary repair were applied in both cases. Ruptured tendons were reattached to the proximal portion of the patella with pull-out method. In the latest examination, an extension lag was not identified, in both two cases. The range of motion of the knee joint restored and both of the patients satisfied with the results. (author abst.)
