Abstract; Two blunt-cut amputations distal to the DIP joint(Allen's Zone 3) were replanted. One was a left index finger and the other was a right middle finger. In the left index finger, the artery and vein were repaired with a vein graft, while in the right middle finger, only the artery was repaired with a vein graft, and a fish mouth incision was performed in the finger tip. Digital nerves were not repaired in either case. The two patients were satisfied with their operative results. Sensory return was less than 50% in both. (author abst.)
