Abstract;A new method for ray tracing parametrised curves, surfaces and eventhough heigher dimensional objects in presented. The algorithm we describe here is based on a sphere with small radius, but the method is different from the swept sphere method by Van Wijk. In our method, the intersection problem is reduced to an algebraic equation of degree two, and solved by the standard method. (author abst.)
