Abstract;Surgical treatments under endoscopy like laparoscope and thoracoscope were reviewed. The pain after surgical treatment under laparoscopy is characterized by co-existence of injury pain, visceral pain and shoulder pain. On the other hand, there are chronic pains after thoracoscopy in addition to the pain in an early period from the surgical treatment under thoracoscopy. There are different analgesic methods for these pains. A postoperative animal model was introduced. Recent findings from basic studies of postoperative pain were presented.
