Abstract; The influence of inappropriate analgesic procedures after surgical treatment in a day was summarized and several issues to be paid attention for selecting an analgesic procedure following such surgical treatment were pointed out. For surgical treatment in a day, applications of local anesthetic and more than two kinds of analgesics, or a combination with analgesic procedures is effective as a multi-balanced analgesic method. Here, the practical analgesic procedures and the drugs used for it are outlined. For postoperative analgesic treatment, it was important to make pain education before operation, appropriate assessment of pain, preoperative/preventive analgesic treatment and follow-up observation after go home.
