Abstract; This paper explains the following items on the titled research: 1) Objectives; to propose the titled quantitative model based on correct information of seasonal fluctuation of waste volume such as relation between irregular components and collected volume, 2) approach; temporal change in collected volume was defined by total of cyclic, seasonal and irregular components, to develop the model based on finite Fourier series, 3) analysis results; Temporal data size in not less than five years was found desirable to apply to the model. Seasonal component is not affected by data period, different from other two components. Each component was quantitatively analyzed by contributory ratio newly prepared and calculated from square of the amplitude and 4) application results of the model to multiple cities: irregular component ratio decreased with increase in waste collection scale in both household and industry wastes.
