Abstract;The pathological features of intractable neurological diseases including muscular dystrophy and anesthetic control for them were reviewed. Especially, significance of informed consent from patient and family, problems for airway preservation such as difficulties in intubation, postoperative airway obstruction, aspiration, aspiration pneumonia as well as thrombosis were described. In addition, points to pay attention as to cardiac diseases complicated with muscular diseases and dystrophic diseases, control for respiratory diseases were summarized.
