| Abstract;A total of 40 patients who underwent gynecologic surgery under general anesthesia in combination with epidural anesthesia were divided into 2 groups and efficacy of a small dose administration of phentanyl in addition to continuous epidural injection of 0.2% ropivacaine was evaluated. The administration method in combination with phentanyl was superior in respects of times of ropivacaine administration, visual analogue scale and the degree of patient's satisfaction when compared with the single administration method of ropivacaine. Thus, it was demonstrated to be effective for postoperative pain to make additional administration of phentanyl. |
