| Abstract;We developed an instrument unifying Ishizaki type connector and Unibent tube aiming at unilateral pulmonary ventilation using single lumen tracheal tube. The full length of the blocker was 60 cm and the outer diameter was 3.0 mm. Its tip of 3.6 cm in length was curved at 20.DEG.. The lumen was 2.4 mm in diameter and deaeration and aspiration was able. X-ray impermeable line of the full length of instrument was inserted. After intubation of the single lumen tracheal tube to the trachea, it was fixed at the right angle of mouth. The connector part was inserted to the region between the tracheal tube and respiratory pathway and then, ventilation was blocked under fiberscope. |
