| Abstract;Physio 140 is a supplement of extracellular fluid, but lactated Ringer solution or acetated one has been used mainly in this field. Physio 140 was different from those Ringer solutions in respect of electrolyte composition. In Physio 140, Na concentration is set to be 140 mEq/l so as to make perioperative supplement of extracellular fluid and prevent the onset of hyponatoremia. The glucose concentration of 1% is set not so as to affect the blood glucose level and lipid metabolism. Magnesium is included in Physio 140 so as to normalize the physiological functions of Mg. |
