Abstract;Occurrence of peripheral nerve lesion of lower extremities as well as nausea and vomiting is characteristic in the clinical field of gynecology because the lithotriptic position is often chosen as the posture for operation. Therefore, postoperative pain control should be made in consideration of such tendency. Epidural analgesia, subarachnoid administration and subcutaneous, continuous administration of steroids and patient's controlled analgesia have been applied for pain control in the gynecological field. It seems necessary to reduce the postoperative pain according to the respective symptoms.
