Abstract;Since pains of musculoskeletal system are somatalgia in the field of orthopedics, postoperative pain is severe in some cases when compared with the pain of operative invasion. When sensitization in the central nerve system is associated to it, there is a risk that the pain is prolonged, leading to chronic pain. For systemic analgesia, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and opioids are often give through intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous route. In addition, epidural analgesia and local analgesia is used for pain control. In this field, postoperative pain control is important to prevent the appearance of chronic pain.
