Abstract;This article summarized the characteristics of postoperative pain control in the field of otolaryngology and the postoperative complication such as dizziness, vomiting. Since such complications might affect postoperative pain, suitable countermeasures should be taken. The postoperative pains could be controlled by administration of non-steroidal drug and anti-inflammatory one. Epidural analgesia and also continuous subcutaneous administration of bupurenorphine are chosen for postoperative patients with cerebrocervical malignant tumor. Nerve block is effective for postoperative analgesia in otolaryngology.
