Abstract;ProstaglandinE1 has been used as a vasodilator substance for the treatment of occlusive arterial sclerosis and maintenance of hypotension under anesthetization and it has been also demonstrated that the substance is effective for spinal stenosis due to metastatic spinal tumor. For this case, IV injection of lidocaine and betamethasone was given, resulting in rapid relief of the leg pain. Thus the combined injection was indicated to be suitable for pain control. In addition, prostaglandinE1 was effective for pain recurrence, but its mechanism remains unclear.
