Abstract;Preemptive analgesia(P) is to prevent the nociceptive stimulus input from the periphery to the center and to relieve the postoperative pain to restrain the prolonged pain, throughout the entire period between the preoperative and the postoperative early stages.The result of the research on P of small animals and the problems of the clinical research were described.The reason why the usefulness of P has not been proven in the clinical research is considered to be the difficulty of the clinical research.The pain management by which anaphylaxis cannot be acquired in the nervous system is important, and further research on the analgesic treatment is necessary.
