Abstract; The work of anesthesiologists is to lead and maintain patients using drugs in the anesthetic condition safely, and to have them recovered from the anesthesia after operation. For its purpose, not only the pharmacodynamic knowledge but also the pharmacokinetic knowledge for control of the blood concentration are indispensable. The pharmacodynamics is a learning region in which the processes of absorption, distribution, and metabolism of drugs are studied. The fundamental terminology and concept of the pharmacodynamics were outlined.
