Abstract;Generally in the liver hamartoma, the alpha fetoprotein (AFP) value shows normal or slight increase. The case was a 9 month female infant. The liver hamartoma which showed AFP high value was recognized and the tumor existed from the liver lobule dexter was removed entirely by partial resection of the liver. The AFP value rapidly lowers in the postoperative stage and the progress is good. The infant liver cancer occupies about 70% in the infant hepatic tumor and mesenchymal hamartoma of liver is rare. Especially, the synthetic judgment adding a factor of age to body opinion, blood examination opinion and image information is important in the diagnosis of the infant hepatic tumor.
