Abstract;Though the treatment outcome of the hepatoblastoma is rapidly improved, the prognosis of intractable cases such as recurrent cases is very poor. And, a low-birth-weight baby has been made to be a high risk group of the hepatoblastoma, and moreover, there are many progressing cases and the correspondence becomes a large problem. The case was a male infant of the very low birth weight child in fetus of 32 weeks and 4 days, which caused the recidivation 2 times after spread to lung and the prognosis was doubted. The stem cell transplantation (SCT) was carried out after the case became remittent by the surgical cutting for the metastatic lesion, and the progress has been good. Though the usefulness of SCT has not been established yet, it is also expected to prevent the repeated recidivation by carrying out SCT after the control of metastatic lesion even in the recurrent cases and to connect to the cure.
