Abstract; In this study, we proposed discharge coefficient formulas of labyrinth weirs with sharp crests, including them of high density or quasi-rectangular shapes, based on hydraulic experiments. And we examined effects of these labyrinth weirs from discharge coefficient per unit width (Cwr) and unit discharge per volume (q/v) to these of straight weirs. From the results, it became clear that labyrinth weirs with quasi-triangular and high density shape has advantage on the condition of small dam spillways in which longitudinal length of labyrinth weirs are limited. Vertical aspect ratio (W/P) is less than 2 and apex ratio (A/W) is 0.0765 in the labyrinth weirs. Unit discharge of the labyrinth weirs is about 3.9-6.6m3/s/m at the maximum on the condition of small dam spillways in which head (H) is less than 0.8m and head to crest height ratio (H/P) is 0.3-0.5.
