| Abstract;This paper describes IP-PBX equipment and an IP telephony outsourcing service offered by NEC. The newly developed PBX conforms to SIP, the standard protocol for the IP telephony, in addition to the proprietary protocol. The outsourcing service includes implementation support, operation and maintenance of a private network, and equipment rental service. Service features including smooth transition from existing equipment, a variety of measures against various faults are shown. |
