| Abstract;The Lord-type cement-less hip prosthesis has screwed acetabular cartridge ring and straight line long stem. The object was made to be total of 228 joints of Madreporique-type of 104 joints processed into the whole stem beaded, and Mark-II type of 124 joints, which smoothed only the stem apex division. In man of 26 joints (& woman; 192 joints), breakdowns of the case were coxarthrosis of 161 joints, chronic articular rheumatism of 24 joints, caputs femoris aseptic necrosis of 11 joints, etc.. These JOA score were the preoperative average of 43.4 points (average 85.4 points in a postoperative 10year observation in 63 joints), and this result was almost to be satisfied. There are many examples of producing the osteolysis in the stem proximal part, and it occurs also intrusion type ring shrinkage. |
