| Abstract; There are problems(cause of polyethylene abrasion) such as the bone melting on the cement-less hip prosthesis, with lengthening the postoperative course. The problem of the bad example was examined by the investigation result for the metaphases. The object was 58 examples of 70 hip (man; 9, woman;f 49 examples) which was able to follow up the over of 5 years. The primary disease was the following ( coxarthrosis; 59 hips, caput femoris necrosis;f 11 hips ), and the follow-up period was the average 6 year & 10months, on the age in the operation was at 33-72-year-old ( average; 55.2 ). All instances there is no case to abating in socket and stem, and is good bone fixation. Though the average line abrasion/year was comparatively good (0.11mm), the high abrasion was observed in 2 hips, and re-substitution be enforced. As a factor concerning the abrasion, there ware the age in the operation & lock mechanism of the polyethylene. |
