Abstract; There are two types of PCL(Posterior Cruciate Ligament) preservation type Meniscale and PCL cutting type rotating platform in the LCS(Low Contact Stress) artificial knee joint system, and bearing (X) and AP-Glide(Y) are contained for the former. The case was divided into the I and II group in order to evaluate the function of the bearing in the LCS artificial knee joint plasty. The I group : 1988-1994, X application, neglect of the PCL function, 3 cases. The II group : 1995-, X application, 1999-Y application, normal PCL function, 30 cases. At 53% of the I group and 87% of the II group, the bearing normally moved in the largest curvature of the knee to the rear over 2mm.There was a complication at the part of the I group. There was the rear contact point/big excursion/subnormality movement in most of the II group.
