Abstract;Features of HTOZ (the osteosynthesis composite material) which coatinged zirconia ceramic base material with titanium arc thermal spraying and hydroxyapatite (HA) flame thermal spraying were examined. The test result of HTOT (the conventional osteosynthesis composite material) that coatinged titanium base alloy base material by thermal spraying was compared with test result of HTOZ.As the result, HA layer of the HTOZ material showed the chemical characteristic which was equivalent to HA layer of the HTOT material.And, ion elution characteristic of the HTOZ material was equivalent to the HTOT material.In addition, in vivo safety which was equivalent to the HTOT material was guessed.
