Abstract;Bone metabolism was examined by the measurement of bone quantity and urinary DPD (the deoxy pyridinoline) of bone resorption marker in preoperative/postoperative of the TKA (artificial knee joint placement technique) patient. And,the effect of the bone metabolism on the inflammation was evaluated with erythrocyte sedimentation rate and CRP value. It was investigated for TKA patient (average age of 71.0-year-old,gonarthrosis) 40 persons, and next results were obtained;1)by passing postoperative 1 week, urinary DPD rose, and it reached the fourth week at the peak,2)by passing postoperative 1 month, blood skeleton pattern alkaline phosphatase of the osteogenesis marker became preoperative ratio 1.37 times, and the high value was shown even in postoperative 3 months,3)the bone quantity of the calcaneus showed declining tendency in comparison with the preoperative in postoperative 3 months,4)by passing postoperative 6 months, urinary DPD returned to the standard value of the preoperative,5)there was no correlation between inflammation view and bone quantity/bone metabolism marker of the calcaneus,6)in the meantime, it was indicated that there was a fixed limit for the evaluation of the local field inflammation by erythrocyte sedimentation rate and CRP.
