Abstract;Whether it could trust as the index in which an anatomical position of the tibia node decides twist alignment in artificial knee joint placement technique was evaluated by CT.Using twist alignment adaptation guide system of the femur/tibia component at knee joint extension position, the CT evaluation was carried out for the case (43 gonarthrosis and 16 chronic articular rheumatism) of 59 artificial knee joint placement techniques. There was a case in which the positive middle longitudinal axis considerably separated from tibias node inside 1/3, when the tibia was properly installed in the good twist position with the femur.Because there was the individual specificity in the position of the tibia node,it was concluded that inside1/3 was not always twist decision believable index.
