Abstract;Research and examination was carried out for the case of 43 hip prosthesis replacement therapy using the femur in the title stem for the 1990-1996 year.The following were included for 43 cases : 39 osteoarthroses,3 fracture and 1 ANF.The age in the operation was 32-78 year old (average of 58 year old).The postoperative observation period was for the 5-11 year (average 7 year and 7 months).It functioned except for the case of 1 re-replacement therapy as a weight bearing joint.In the change of bone property in the calcar part, there was a case of 40 bone multiplication, 1 property constancy, 2 bone resorption.19 cases recognized the subduction over 2mm in 43 cases.Therefore, the necessity of the countermeasure which suppressed the high rate generation of the subduction was indicated.
