Abstract;Total hip arthroplasty was classified into two groups of A (both sides simultaneous 1 time) and B (right and left separation 2 times). Then, the postoperative course was examined, while the case of both groups was compared. It was examined for case (13 osteoarthroses, 2 bone head necrosis, 1 ankylosing spondylitis) of 32 A and case (16 osteoarthroses) of 32 B in May,1998-April, 2001.Average age in the operation of A and B was 53 year old and 55 year old respectively. The following could not be recognized in both groups:Peroperative period and complication in the postoperation. There was the significance between both groups in hospitalization, insurance point and for the operation time. The hospitalization was shortened to 62% in the whole case of A.And,the cost was also reduced at 85%.In addition, the stress under hospitalization was relieved in the long term, and therefore, the effect which reduced the complication was indicated.
