| Abstract;The fine structure of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) cup surface used as an artificial joint slide plane was observed in the wear rate independence.Then,change and wear mechanism of the micro structure with the change of the abrasion were examined.It was examined for 19 UHMWPE liners drawn by the re-replacement therapy in December,1998-May,2001.The period to the re-replacement therapy was 3 months-20.7 years (average years of 9.9).And,16 looseness,2 infection and 1 repeatedly dislocation was a reason of the re-replacement therapy.A series of wear process was examined by material-dynamic inspection and analysis of UHMWPE liner drawn in re-replacement therapy. |
