| Abstract;By the abrasion test using the hip joint simulator,the usefulness of various volume wear amount measurement procedure of the acetabular cartridge cup concerning bone melting of hip prosthesis was compared.It was tested for 9 Teflon cups in which the aperture tilted so that the abrasion direction may become 67 degrees.In oil dropping test of Biggs et al.,the direct measurement of the volume is not conveniently as much as possible,and the multi-direction abrasion does not influence the accuracy.Therefore,the oil dropping test was useful as volume wear amount measurement method of the evulsion cup.In three lines wear amount conversion equation,the equation of Hashimoto was most to each other similar for the true value.It was indicated that selection and attention were necessary for the routine of the equation,when the volume wear amount was obtained from the line wear amount. |
