Abstract; In cementless total hip arthroplasty, stems and the good fit/fill of the stem and the bone are necessary in order to obtain the initial fixation of the stem.Using ORTHODOC (the preoperative plan workstation), the three-dimensional preoperative plan based CT data is made, and ROBODOC (robot) carries out the preparatory operation for the femur.Anatomic type stem (I) and taper type stem (II) were installed in the simulation, and the relationship between shape of the stem and fit/fill in the juxtaposition was investigated. It was investigated for 25 joints of secondary coxarthrosis of the acetabular aplasia derivation and 25 normal joints without acetabular aplasia.II of significantly large size was significantly deeply able to be installed.II was more significantly good for medullary cavity share and medullary cavity contact ratioin level 1 and 4.
