| Abstract;The usefulness of Ca antagonist (I) in various disease states associated with the hypertension was outlined based on the evidence by a large-scale clinical trial. For the beginning, the types of I and features were explained. Next, the usefulness of I in cerebrovascular disorder, hypertensive left ventricular hypertrophy, hypertensive urgent disease, renal disturbance and ischemic heart disease was explained. It was explained that the long time acting type I had the action equal to the ACE inhibitor in organ protective effects such as renal protecting effect and cardiac hypertrophy degeneracy effect, etc. It was explained that detailed examination on every disease state would be necessary in future. |
