| Abstract; The reason why the use frequency of AII receptor antagonist (I) rapidly increased was explained, and the characteristics and usage were outlined. As a reason for using I, the results of blood pressure measurement at home and large-scale research were mentioned. Large-scale study cases such as heart protection, ischemic disease, brain protection, renal protective effect, etc. were introduced. It described that I would be the first alternative drug for patients with essential hypertension considering the organ protection and with diabetes mellitus and hypertension especially for patients with renal failure. The long-time acting type I or diuretic were recommended as a combined medicine. It was indicated that it was the use contraindication just like the ACE inhibitor on the hypertension in the pregnancy, though the side effect was little. |
