| Abstract;Characteristics and usage of diuretic (I) were outlined based on the pressure-diuresis curve. To begin with, the classification and action mechanism of I were explained, and the work area of I in renal uriniferous tubule was illustrated, and the hypotension mechanism was explained. It was explained that the hypotensive effect of I could be expected in the case in which the gradient of the pressure-diuresis curve was small and the salt sensitivity was high. The case which is associated with the cardiac insufficiency and the edema decreases the body fluid volume and becomes a good adaptation. And, it was indicated that there was the negative effect to electrolytes, etc. in I and that it was desirable to judge the use from both sides of biochemical opinion and complicated diseases, etc. The administration of small quantity was desirable for the hypotention by sole use of I and the method for using other drugs jointly from small quantity was recommended, when the effect was weak. It was explained that the additional and synergistic effects could be expected and the side effect could also be relieved in combined use of small quantity. |
