| Abstract;The positioning in hypotensive drug treatment of ACE inhibitor (I) was outlined mainly. To begin with, the action mechanism of I was explained and types and features of I marketed in Japan were explained. As adaptation of I in hypertension treatment guideline, especially 5 diseases (hypertension associated with diabetes mellitus, hypertension associated with cardiac disease, hypertension associated with renal disorder, hypertension associated with cerebral blood vessel disorder and elderly people hypertension) were explained. And, side effects of I and precautions for use were described. It was explained that pregnant women, hyperkalemia, both sides renal artery stenosis were the contraindication disease, and that cough was especially important in the side effects such as cough, exanthema, hypotension, vertigo, renal dysfunction, etc. |
