| Abstract;The blood pressure circadian variation (B) abnormality in hypertensive patients, especially the blood pressure change abnormality at night (N) was outlined. The data in which the crisis of cerebrovascular disease occurred during the morning frequently from the early morning was introduced for the beginning, and B and cardiovascular system risk were explained. It was explained that cardiovascular death relative risk was high in N abnormality in which there was no hypotension at night. The disease states which caused autonomic neuropathy such as congestive heart failure, renal insufficiency and diabetes mellitus were mentioned as a mechanism of B abnormality, and it was explained that the failure of the diencephalon - pituitary adrenal system caused the rhythm abnormality. There was the high possibility in which the control of the blood pressure morning surge was connected to the control of the cardiovascular system event, and features of aortic pressure ripple by the age were illustrated, and the relationship between arteriosclerosis and pulse pressure was explained. In addition, features and use of hypotensive drugs were also explained. |
