Abstract; The possibility of prognosis prediction in the preoperative stage was examined for 29 cases of cancer in the title experienced for past 15 years. As the result, the pancreas substance invasion (I) and lymph node metastasis (II) which were prognosis determinant of the papilla mammae part cancer were over 23mm in tumor diameter, which were recognized in high rate. Though it was possible to accurately know the largest diameter of the tumor to some extent by a ultrasonic endoscope (EUS) in the preoperative stage, it was not possible to know II accurately. The tumor-type and tissue-type were related with I but not with II. From above described facts, it was indicated that it was possible to estimate the prognosis of the papilla mammae part cancer by knowing the size of a tumor in EUS in the preoperative stage, and by knowing the tumor-type and the tissue-type in endoscope and biopsy.
