Abstract; The case was a 71-year-old man, whose chief complaint was the jaundice. A tumor liie shadow defect was recognized in choledochal duct by ERCP, which was judged as the calculus, and the calculus was removed by the basket ashlar. However, the hyperbilirubinemia was prolonged afterwards, and the case was transferred to other department as the cause of blockage was unknown. The calculus and tumor disappeared just before the transfer. Obvious cholestasis image with hepatocyte failure and fat metamorphism was recognized in centrilobular by the biopsy in the department of internal medicine. The blockage in the biliary system had been solved at the time of transfer, and the caused was supposed to be the stasis of intrahepatic bile duct juice. The total bilirubin value gradually lowered, and the case left hospital. The cause of the stasis of intrahepatic bile duct juice was not specified obviously.
