| Abstract;The usefulness of Glimepiride (I) was examined for 30 patients in the title. The average HbA1C(H) was lowered significantly after the administration. H was lowered significantly regardless of level before the administration. Both H and total cholesterol were lowered significantly in a BMI26.LEQ. group before the administration. The body weight increased by 0.4kg in average for 1 year, but it was not significant. The improvement on the glycemic control was recognized in many cases. The side effect was observed in only one case in which the bleeding blister was recognized after starting the dosage. It was indicated from above described facts that I was useful for glycemic control improvement of type 2 diabetic patients impossible to control with normal or slight obesity tendency in weight. |
