Abstract;Though field Wasabi seedling of the Wakayama prefecture is produced in a part of region, Wasabi producer of the most part plants the purchase seedling steadily. Then, the difference in the growth by the difference in the seeding time was investigated and the optimum stage and the planting optimal timing of the plant production in the area concerned were examined from the view of the the period when it became able to plant steadily from the seeding. Using the seed stored at picking post-5.DEG.C., seeding, nursing seedling management were carried out by the unheated green house covered in 55% light shielding material. As the result, the planting seedling of 5 sheets of leaves was able to produce at the middle of March in the end of November seeding and at the middle of April in the end of December seeding.
