| Abstract;Neglected forest and truncation thinning of cedar and obtusa plantation increase by the stagnation of the forestry. The discoloration damage of the material by wasps which seems to propagate in such forest stand recently has been doubted. Then, the investigation on ecology necessary for the removal method development and reproduction was carried out for the Japan wasp. Though the Japan wasp imago emerges and escapes over July to October, it is not fixed, and it changes by the year in the emergence time. As a result of investigating the change, the first moths caught day seemed to be very much related to the accumulated temperature, since the first moths caught day was concentrated near accumulated temperature of 2800.DEG.C. from first of January. And, the effect of those fallen tree by wind on the generation of wasps was investigated, since the caught number of Japan wasp moths rapidly increased in the cedar hinoki forest in which the fallen tree arose by typhoon in 1989. As a result distinguished by the form of the hole by doing the bolt of escape hole of the wasp observed in trunk surface in hinoki fallen tree by wind, it became clear that they fallen trees by wind became the reproduction source of wasps. It seemed to connect rapidly dealing with the damage reduction of wasps, when fallen tree by wind arose. |
