| Abstract;Serum LDH (lactate dehydrogenase) was outlined. Definition and features of LDH were explained for the beginning. It was explained that combination with other examinations and measurement of isoenzyme were necessary for estimation of damaged organs, because LDH rose whichever organ was damaged. Next, the cautionary note in the examination was explained. Finally, the following cases were explained with the test data : 1) Type A acute hepatitis in acute phase, 2) Alcoholic hepatitis in acute phase, 3) Necrosis of hepatoma, 4) Metastatic liver cancer, 5) Viral disease in acute phase, 6) Malignant lymphoma and 7) Non-hepatic disease. |
